Paula Deen – Taking a Ham-Hit Like a Soldier

Just so you’re on the same track, this “Paula Deen Hit With Ham” topic is not about a Thanksgiving recipe or anything like that. Paula Deen, one of America’s favorite cooks, apparently was hit in the face with an eight-pound ham yesterday during a charity event for Hosea Feed the Hungry in Atlanta, Georgia.
In the video below, Paula Deen and members of the Smithfield Foods’ staff are seen standing around, passing out packets of meat as a part of the company’s “Corporate Social Responsibility” program. All of a sudden, a “flying ham” flew out of nowhere and hits her in the face. Fortunately, Deen was not injured and was back with all smiles in no time. She laughed and cracked jokes about a swollen nose with an ice-pack in her hands. “It just got hit with a hog, so what can I expect,” she told WSB-TV. “Ran head on into a hog.”
